As a result of the higher elevation and colder climate of the growing district, Darjeeling tea is harvested in much smaller lots with smaller yields than other teas. Often referred to as the “Champagne of Teas”, Darjeeling teas are famous throughout the world for their fragrant, flowery aroma and rich flavor.
